Happy Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day Breakfast is this morning at 8:00 AM.
We would like to invite all adult SS classes to join us in the sanctuary at 9:45 AM to learn about some ministry opportunities at Grace Centers of Hope.
We will be having a potluck meal/going away party for Bro. Harold and his family at 6:30 on May 20th. Everyone is encouraged to bring a couple of dishes for the potluck. See Karen Butler for details.
We will be having a Deacon Ordination service (for Terry Martin) next Sunday evening at 5:30 PM. All ordained men are asked to be here at 4:40 to participate in the ordination council.
We need approximately 50-60 small empty peanut butter jars for the preschool age VBS craft.
On our upcoming mission trip to Haiti (May 26th-June 5th) we will be doing an Award soccer camp. We need soccer balls. You can bring used or new balls. Our goal is 50 balls. Partner with us as we score goals for the Gospel. Many lives will be changed.
ATTN Lucky Agers: Next trip is Tuesday, May 29th, going to Montgomery, IN to Gasthof Amish Village, restaurants, flea market & shops; Huntingburg, IN to Touch of Class Store; and an outdoor market in IN. Bus will leave at 6:00 am. Cost is $12.00. Please inform Alice Sherrow if you want to go on this trip.
Operation Christmas Child May items are boy toys (see bulletin board for suggested items).
We could use a few more folks to get their CDL license in order to be able to drive our bus. Kevin Tyler is going to get his CDL and if you are interested let him know.

I would like to thank everyone that came out for the Haiti Mission’s meal. You, the church, gave $942.00 to go towards the mission trip. Thank you so much for your giving! Bro. Troy
We will have a monthly business meeting this evening.
Anyone interested in helping with VBS needs to attend the VBS meeting scheduled this evening at 5:00 pm or see Karen Butler or Jennifer Newby.
There will be a Call to Prayer this evening at 5:00 in the Fellowship Hall to pray for all the changes happening in our church.
We will be hosting a benefit concert for Isaiah House this Sat. evening, May 12th at 6:00 PM. The Men & Women of Grace will be singing & all proceeds collected will go to support Isaiah House.
Mother’s Day Breakfast is next Sunday morning around 8:00 AM. Men need to be here at 6:00 AM.
Men & Women of Grace will be joining us for our worship services next Sunday AM. We would like to invite all adult SS classes to join us in the sanctuary at 9:45 AM to learn about some ministry opportunities at Grace Centers of Hope.
Various members of the praise team and choir will be leading us in worship and directing the choir the next several weeks. Please encourage and pray for them. Also pray for the Personnel Committee as they will be looking for a Part-time Worship Minister.
