What is Immanuel Baptist Church anyway? <\/strong>Immanuel Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church serving Boyle and Mercer Counties (including Danville, Harrodsburg, Burgin and surrounding areas).\u00a0 We began worshipping together in 1952 and have been blessed by God over the years with many new members and have been able to grow and expand as the Lord has increased us.<\/p>\n

When and where do we meet? <\/strong>On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School (for all ages) from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.\u00a0 Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:45 AM.\u00a0 We have services on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM.\u00a0 We also have services (for all age groups) on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6 PM & 6:30 PM.\u00a0 Immanuel Baptist is located at 1280 Faulkner Lane, Danville, KY 40422 (Map It\u2026Directions)\u00a0 Our number is 859.236.5073.<\/p>\n

What Will the Service Be Like? <\/strong>Our 10:45 worship service would be considered a blended service.\u00a0 Our primary goal is to exalt the Lord and we try to do that through the singing of hymns and more contemporary songs.\u00a0 We have a choir and a praise team and we utilize a plethora of musical instruments.\u00a0 The service is designed to begin with congregational praise and worship and then the preaching of the Word of God.\u00a0 (Our services generally last about one hour and fifteen minutes.)<\/p>\n

Do I have to dress up? <\/strong>Nope!\u00a0 You are invited to come as you are.\u00a0 You\u2019ll see blue jeans, t-shirts, shorts, as well as a few sport coats, ties, and dresses.\u00a0 We do not want dress to be a deterrent or distraction in worshiping God.<\/p>\n

Where do I park?<\/strong> We have plenty of parking around the church.\u00a0 We have some designated parking spots for guest and those with handicap needs but you are welcome to park anywhere you feel most comfortable.<\/p>\n

Where do\u00a0I come in?<\/strong> There are three doors\/entrances to our worship center.\u00a0 You are welcome to use any of them.\u00a0 Our Outreach Center is located behind our worship center and is where our students gather on Wednesday evenings.<\/p>\n

Can I bring my kids? <\/strong>Absolutely! We love kids.\u00a0We have a nursery during every service and children\u2019s church on Sunday mornings.\u00a0 On Sunday evenings we have Worship Kidstyle and we have age appropriate classes on Wednesday evenings.\u00a0 Kids are also welcome to sit with parents in the worship center; we just ask that you respect those around you and take your child to the cry room (located off the center entrance) if he or she is disrupting the service.<\/p>\n
